Turquoise Puff Grass

This small, green grass grows up to 1 foot (30.5 cm) tall. The sickle shaped stalks grow in small clumps that are flexible and they are slow to spread and grow.

When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a small, turquoise puff.

During the late summer, it produces very little pollen; it can cause allergic reactions, and after flowering, it is left with a few medium-sized grains.
