Copper Flower
Flower type: Annual (Grows along the ground or other low surfaces.)This colossal flower grows up to 11.3 feet (3.5 meters) tall. Its copper stems grow in bunches of 7 and are wispy with a curved tip, and the tiny, gray-green leaves are long, narrow with ripped edges. A pair of leaves grow at the base of the flower head.
A single medium-sized flower sits at the end of the stem. The flowers are 55 cm (21.7 inches) wide, with solid copper petals decorated with purple lines and a silver central disk. The flower head is an uncoordinated mess of up to 30 curved petals. They are hardy.
It has a strong scent that smells like vomit, and it has excessive amounts of pollen, but it does not cause any allergic reactions. It is pollinated by insects and is particularly attractive to bees.
