Pink Puff Grass

Grass type: Biennial (Grows along the ground or other low surfaces.)

This small, green grass grows up to 1 foot (30.5 cm) tall. The very thin stalks grow in thick clumps that are resistant.

When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a giant, pink puff.

During the mid-summer, it produces lots of pollen, and after flowering, it is left with a modest amount of giant grains.

It is suitable for creating strong, durable textiles
A particular bird species likes to nest in it.
