Copperpetal

This modest-sized flower grows up to 1.5 feet (46 cm) tall. Its yellow-green stem is very thin, and the large, green leaves are dark lime green on the underside and are sickle shaped with jagged edges. A pair of leaves grow at the base of the stem.

Many large flowers grow in bunches along the stem. The flowers are 5 cm (2.0 inches) wide, with petals that are either azure or copper, with a yellow center. The flower head is made up of 11 petals in raised layers. They detach easily.

It has the faintest scent that smells like freshly washed clothes, and it has lots of pollen; it does not cause many allergic reactions. It is a self-pollinator, but is also visited by a small species of bird.
