Spiny Bronze

This big cactus grows up to 84 feet (25.6 meters) tall. It splits partway up the body to form 3 perforated stems. Each stem is moss green, and is covered in hundreds of rigid pink spines. The spherical body is gray-green, and is covered in brittle bronze spines.

It is fast growing, taking 4 months to reach maturity. Once mature, and only under the right conditions, a handful of flowers, with each petal a slightly different shade of hazel, grow at the top, reappearing after 3 years, but only when the conditions are right again. The flower head is made up of several petals; the lower layer of petals are flat, while the upper layers form a tight heart. It has a delicate scent that smells like musk.

The cactus's skin is thin, the magenta flesh is leathery, and the muted orange sap is thin.
