Burgundy Grass

This giant, burgundy grass grows up to 28 feet (8.5 meters) tall. The stiff, pointed stalks grow in thick clumps that are flexible and they are slow to spread and grow.

When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a giant, indigo tuft.

During the late autumn, it produces a fair amount of pollen; it does not cause many allergic reactions, and after flowering, it is left with lots of small grains.
