Purplevine
Climbing plant type: Vine (Grows upwards by clinging to almost any surface.)This small vine is a quick growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 12 feet (3.7 meters) and growing as high as 732 feet (223.1 meters).
It takes 11 months for the emerald or white stems to mature, by which point they have often fused together into ropes with a diameter of 1 cm (0.4 inches) and remain soft and fleshy.
The fan-like, crispy leaves reach up to 3 inches (8 cm) in length. They are either grey, or purple with silver splotches, and have ripped edges.
During late spring, the vine produces copious amounts of giant copper flowers.
