Pink Cube Flower

Flower type: Perennial (Grows upwards by clinging to almost any surface.)

This short flower grows up to 3 inches (8 cm) tall. Its yellow-green stem is very thin and straight, and the miniature, emerald leaves are finger-like with rounded edges. Many leaves grow at the base of the stem, and more leaves alternate on the stem from about halfway up, up to the flower head.

Many tiny flowers grow in drooping bunches like grapes. The flowers are 18 cm (7.1 inches) wide, with pink petals that gradient shift to light brown on the outer edge. The central disk is dark grey. The flower head is shaped like a cube made up of dozens of widely spaced, narrow petals. They are very delicate.

It has a weak scent that smells like bleach, and it has lots of pollen. It is pollinated by a small species of bird, but is also visited by one species of insect in particular.

It is suitable for creating flexible, durable textiles
