Sky Blue Clinger

Tree type: Deciduous (Grows upwards by clinging to almost any surface.)

This short tree grows up to 6 meters (19.7 feet) tall and lives for centuries, with the oldest known specimen being around 243 years old. It is not very resistant to disease and destructive insect infestation.

It has a wide, angular trunk covered in waxy, brown-green bark, and inside, the very light wood is yellow-brown.

The small handful of branches trail down across the ground and are covered with large amounts of covered in fine hairs, miniature, stiff, pointed leaves with smooth edges. The leaves themselves are solid light brown or sky blue, with azure edges.

In late summer it forms tiny, silver seed pods.

The roots form a tightly packed ball, and overall the tree is sturdy, flexible, and difficult to uproot or break.

Forests of this species feature the trees packed together densely, with the space between filled with undergrowth.

It aggressively steals nutrients from other large plants (but not each other).
