Green Clinger Grass

Grass type: Perennial (Grows upwards by clinging to almost any surface.)

This big, green grass grows up to 6 feet (1.8 meters) tall. The stiff, pointed stalks grow in extensive patches that are rigid and they are slow to spread and grow.

When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a medium-sized, white spikelet.

During the late autumn, it produces a fair amount of pollen; it does not cause any allergic reactions, and after flowering, it is left with a handful of tiny grains.

It absorbs an exceptionally large amount of water each day.
It is suitable for creating tough, hard-wearing textiles
It spreads easily and often blanket large areas.
