Violetleaf
Succulent type: Leaf succulent (Stores water in its leaves)This large leaf succulent grows up to 79 feet (24.1 meters) tall. The pleated stem is burgundy, and is covered in hundreds of flexible lilac spines. The irregular-edged, 6 pointed leaves are either violet, or green with red zig-zags. Small amounts of them grow from the base like blades of grass. The leaves are fairly frail, and easily come away when pulled.
It is very fast growing, taking 2 months to reach maturity. Once mature, and only under the right conditions, a handful of flowers, with petals that are either copper or blue, with a yellow center, grow at the top, reappearing after 9 years, but only when the conditions are right again. The flower head is an uncoordinated mess of up to 10 petals. It has the faintest scent that smells like pine needles.
The leaf succulent's skin is tough, the purple flesh is rubbery, and the amber sap is thin.
