Orange Blaze

This small creeper is a fast growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 18 feet (5.5 meters) and growing as high as 31 feet (9.4 meters).

It takes 5 months for the grey stems to mature, by which point they can reach a diameter of 3 cm (1.2 inches) and are rough and gnarled.

The asymmetrical, sticky leaves reach up to 5 inches (13 cm) in length. They are solid orange or light purple, with brown zig-zags, and have jagged edges.

During late spring, the creeper produces many balls of large blue flowers, and during the early autumn, after flowering, it produces plenty of tiny berries.
