Emerald

This emerald moss is commonly found blanketing small areas In heathlands, and On rotten logs.
It is giant, growing up to 1.1 feet (33 cm) tall. It forms in large clumps, and is overwhelmingly rigid; it takes a lot of damage when trodden on.
When mature, emerald cylindrical capsules grow at the end of elongated, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the early autumn to release thousands of spores.
