Sky Blue Clinger

This modest-sized flower grows up to 1.7 feet (51 cm) tall. Its gray-green stem is thin, and the miniature, orange leaves are circular with smooth edges. A pair of leaves grow at the base of the stem.

5 to 7 giant flowers grow on alternate sides up the length of the stem. The flowers are 26 cm (10.2 inches) wide, with alternating petals of sky blue and sky blue, with a sky blue central disk. The flower head is an uncoordinated mess of up to 20 curved petals. They fall easily.

It has a scent whose strength depends on external factors, such as soil quality and rain frequency that smells like rotten meat, and it has a modest amount of pollen. It is a self-pollinator, but is also visited by a small species of bird.
