Emerald Heath Moss

This green moss is commonly found blanketing tiny areas In heathlands, and In damp forests.
It is big, growing up to 10 inches (25 cm) tall. It forms in sparse patches, and is slightly light.
When mature, emerald cylindrical capsules grow at the end of short, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the early autumn to release dozens of spores.
