Bluevine
Climbing plant type: Bine (Grows upwards by winding itself around other objects and plants.)This small bine is a very fast growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 24 feet (7.3 meters) and growing as high as 284 feet (86.6 meters).
It takes 3 months for the green stems to mature, by which point they sometimes have a diameter of 1 cm (0.4 inches) and are rough and prickly.
The pleated, smooth leaves reach up to 2 inches (5 cm) in length. They are sky blue on the sides and vibrant blue at the center, and have rounded edges.
During late spring, the bine produces a thick sheet of small lime flowers.
It commonly grows in large patches.
