Yellow Bindweed
Climbing plant type: Bine (Grows upwards by winding itself around other objects and plants.)This colossal bine is a very slow growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 2,414 feet (735.8 meters) and growing as high as 625 feet (190.5 meters).
It takes 25 years for the yellow stems to mature, by which point they each have a diameter of 4.1 feet (1.2 meters) and are flat and wavy.
The pleated, clammy leaves reach up to 2.3 feet (69 cm) in length. They are yellow and yellow, and have smooth edges.
During late spring, the bine produces several small beige flowers.
