Emerald Flame Moss

This yellow-green moss is commonly found growing in medium-sized clumps On rotten logs, and In moorlands.
It is massive, growing up to 1.3 feet (38 cm) tall. It forms in large clumps, and is extremely rigid; it burns easily in strong sunlight.
When mature, emerald flame-shaped capsules grow at the end of short, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the late summer to release thousands of spores; it does not cause many allergic reactions.
