Silvergrass

Grass type: Perennial (Sheds its leaves in winter)

This modest-sized, silver grass grows up to 3 feet (91.4 cm) tall. The very narrow and elongated stalks grow in small clumps that are resistant.

When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a medium-sized, cyan puff.

During the early winter, it produces very little pollen, and after flowering, it is left with lots of small grains.

It is suitable for use as a construction material
The grass is bitter and very toxic and while grains are bitter and non-toxic.
It can flourish even in standing water.
