Pink Petal

Flower type: Biennial (Stores water in its stem)

This short flower grows up to 2 inches (5 cm) tall. Its beige and green stem is very thick and straight with a curved tip, and the giant, yellow-green leaves are finger-like with ripped edges. A pair of leaves grow at the base of the stem.

Each stem splits 6 to 8 times; a single small flower grows at the end of each split. The flowers are 6 cm (2.4 inches) wide, with petals that are either pink or peach, with a yellow center. The flower head is made up of several petals; the lower layer of petals are flat, while the upper layers form a tight dish. They are hardy.

It has a strong scent that smells like fermented fruit, and it has very little pollen; it does not cause any allergic reactions. It is pollinated by a small species of bird.

It is suitable for making baskets and the like
