Indigo Creeper

This modest-sized creeper is a steady-growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 37 feet (11.3 meters) and growing as high as 238 feet (72.5 meters).

It takes 7 months for the orange stems to mature, by which point they can reach a diameter of 2 inches (5 cm) and are tough and woody.

The stiff, pointed, smooth leaves reach up to 1.0 foot (30 cm) in length. They are a shade of dark grey that gradient shifts to indigo at the top, and have wavy edges.

During late spring, the creeper produces clusters of average hazel flowers.
