The thin, covered in fine hairs leaves reach up to 8 inches (20 cm) in length. They are olive with hazel tips, and have tattered edges.
During late spring, the bine produces thousands of average turquoise flowers, and during the early summer, after flowering, it produces a handful of small fruits.
It is suitable for use as a construction material
The sap is edible and overwhelmingly sweet.
