Indigo
Flower type: Annual (Grows upwards by winding itself around other objects and plants.)This modest-sized flower grows up to 11 inches (28 cm) tall. Its gray-green stem is very thick and straight with a curved tip, and the large, gray-green leaves are spear shaped with smooth edges. The leaves grow from the base and are the same length as the stem.
Two small flowers sit at the end of each stem. The flowers are 39 cm (15.4 inches) wide, with amber petals on the lower layer and indigo petals decorated with yellow dots on the inner layer. The central disk is olive. The flower head is an uncoordinated mess of up to 50 curved petals. They fall easily.
It has a fairly strong scent that smells like rotten egg, and it has very little pollen; it can cause allergic reactions. It is a self-pollinator.
