Caramel Grass

This large, amber grass grows up to 6 feet (1.8 meters) tall. The asymmetrical stalks grow in large clumps that are sturdy and flexible and they are slow to spread and grow.

When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a small, caramel puff.

During the early winter, it produces a modest amount of pollen, and after flowering, it is left with a handful of large grains.
