Copper
Succulent type: Leaf succulent (Stores water in its leaves)This short leaf succulent grows up to 5 feet (1.5 meters) tall. The wide stem is grey, and is covered in brittle orange spines. The pointed leaves are found in bright green, blood red and olive varieties. Small amounts of them grow on flat, copper branches that trail down to the ground. The leaves are delicate, but take little effort to detach.
It is very slow growing, taking 6 years to reach maturity. Once mature, a handful of flowers, with petals that are cream on the edges and magenta at the center, grow at the top, reappearing once every 3 years. The flower head is an uncoordinated mess of 14 curved petals. It has an intensely strong scent that smells like rotten meat.
The leaf succulent's skin is nearly impenetrable, the lilac flesh is soft, and the cyan sap is thin.
