Violet Ivy

This small vine is a fast growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 14 feet (4.3 meters) and growing as high as 915 feet (278.9 meters).

It takes 3 months for the gray stems to mature, by which point they can reach a diameter of 2 cm (0.8 inches) and are hard and brittle.

The finger-like, fuzzy leaves reach up to 4 inches (10 cm) in length. They are solid subtle blue or violet, with brilliant green splotches, and have irregular edges.

During late spring, the vine produces hundreds of tiny peach flowers, and during the mid-summer, after flowering, it produces copious amounts of large berries.
