Silvervine
Flower type: Biennial (Grows upwards by clinging to almost any surface.)This giant flower grows up to 11.3 feet (3.5 meters) tall. Its silver stems grow in bunches of 5 and are thick with a curved tip, and the huge, emerald leaves are very thick with ripped edges. Many leaves grow along the entire length of the stem.
Two giant flowers sit at the end of the stem. The flowers are 33 cm (13.0 inches) wide, with petals that are magenta on the edges and subtle blue at the center. The flower head is largely flat with 35 raised round-tipped petals. They fall easily.
It has a delicate scent that smells like lavender, and it has lots of pollen; it can can cause allergic reactions. It is pollinated by a small species of bird, but is also visited by a small species of bird.
It is suitable for creating strong, durable textiles
