Amberleaf

This small tree grows up to 3 meters (9.8 feet) tall and lives for centuries, with the oldest known specimen being around 501 years old. It is susceptible to disease and destructive insect infestation.

It has a stocky, straight trunk covered in thick, silky, yellow bark, and inside, the light wood is black.

The tangled mess of branches are tall, rigid and upright and are covered with large amounts of covered in fine hairs, miniature, finger-like leaves with smooth edges. The leaves themselves are solid white or amber, with blue splotches.

In late summer it forms medium-sized, bronze, spiky-shelled seeds.

The roots form a tightly packed ball, and overall the tree is rigid and weak, and breaks apart easily.

Forests of this species feature the trees packed together, with the space between filled with undergrowth.
