Magenta Coniferous Winding Shrub

This modest-sized shrub grows up to 2 feet (61.0 cm) tall and lives for around 74 years. It is very susceptible to disease and insect infestation.

It has dozens of knobbly, crooked stems covered in knobbly, gray bark, and the wood inside is black.

The branches are short, rigid and upright that and are covered with sparse amounts of small, asymmetrical, leaves with smooth edges. The leaves themselves are solid white or amber, with blue splotches, hardy and fuzzy.

In early summer it produces copious amounts of small, magenta flowers with heart-shaped shaped petals. They fall easily and have an overpowering scent that smells like rotting meat.
