Bronzeleaf

Tree type: Deciduous (Stores water in its leaves)

This average-sized tree grows up to 45 meters (147.6 feet) tall and lives for centuries, with the oldest known specimen being around 225 years old. It is very resistant to disease and destructive insect infestation.

It has a knobbly, wavy trunk covered in cracked, dark gray bark, and inside, the dense wood is black with white speckles.

The tangled mess of branches are long and thin and are covered with copious amounts of sticky, huge, thin leaves with serrated edges. The leaves themselves are dull green and bronze.

In late summer it forms small, silver berries.

The roots are thick and spread across the surface, as well as underground, and overall the tree is rigid and brittle.

Forests of this species feature trees spaced far apart, with clear space between them.

It is suitable for making strong rope
The trunk and branches are covered in large spikes.
It is often home to a particular bird species.
The leaves are bitter, but very healthy.
