Turquoise Sicklegrass

Grass type: Biennial (Stores water in its stem)

This big, turquoise grass grows up to 7 feet (2.1 meters) tall. The sickle shaped stalks grow in thick clumps that are prone to bending and snapping under stress.

When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a giant, lime flower.

During the mid-summer, it produces a fair amount of pollen, and after flowering, it is left with a few tiny grains.

It only grows on the most fertile lands.
It can flourish even in standing water.
It is suitable for making paper
