Yellow Moss

This yellow moss is commonly found growing in tiny clumps On trees.
It is modest-sized, growing up to 4 inches (10 cm) tall. It forms in thin clumps, and is slightly sturdy; it can easily endure being trodden on.
When mature, emerald heart-shaped capsules grow at the end of long, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the early autumn to release millions of spores; it does not cause any allergic reactions.
