Yellow Needle Conifer

This massive tree grows up to 127 meters (416.7 feet) tall and lives for centuries, with the oldest known specimen being around 686 years old. It is susceptible to disease and destructive insect infestation.

It has a very thick, crooked trunk covered in ridged, dark brown bark, and inside, the very light wood is yellow.

The excessive amount of branches are tall, rigid and upright, with thousands of twigs covered with small bunches of small, yellow-green needles. The needles themselves are light.

In late summer it produces small, gentle yellow, shelled seeds.

The roots are shallow and grow straight down, and overall the tree is sturdy and rigid.

Forests of this species feature the trees packed together densely, with patches of undergrowth between them.
