Coppergrass

Grass type: Annual (Stores water in the thickened base of its stem)

This small, copper grass grows up to 1 foot (30.5 cm) tall. The wide stalks grow in thin clumps that are prone to bending and snapping under stress and they are exceptionally hardy.

When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a medium-sized, turquoise flower.

During the mid-summer, it produces lots of pollen; it does not cause many allergic reactions, and after flowering, it is left with excessive amounts of tiny grains.

It can grow in even the most barren lands.
It is suitable for making strong rope
The sap is edible and overwhelmingly sour.
