Amberwood Tree
Tree type: Deciduous (Stores water in the thickened base of its stem)This giant tree grows up to 112 meters (367.5 feet) tall and lives for centuries, with the oldest known specimen being around 585 years old. It is somewhat resistant to disease and destructive insect infestation.
It has a narrow, twisting trunk covered in thick, rough, gray bark, and inside, the light wood is brown.
The abundance of branches are tall, rigid and upright and are covered with copious amounts of smooth, large, 3 pointed leaves with smooth edges. The leaves themselves are solid bright green or amber, with lime dots.
In late summer it forms giant, light brown, winged seeds that spin and fall nearby.
The roots grow as a near perfect mirror of the tree above, and overall the tree is sturdy, flexible, and difficult to uproot or break.
Forests of this species feature the trees packed together, with grassy ground between them.
