Violetgrass

This small, yellow-green grass grows up to 1 foot (30.5 cm) tall. The pleated stalks grow in thin clumps that are resilient and they are slow to spread and grow.

When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a medium-sized, washed-out purple flower.

During the late autumn, it produces an average amount of pollen; it can cause severe allergic reactions, and after flowering, it is left with a handful of tiny grains.
