Goldenflare

Succulent type: Caudiciform (Stores water in the thickened base of its stem)

This large caudiciform grows up to 88 feet (26.8 meters) tall. The wide stem is gray-green, and is covered in brittle florescent yellow spines. The thick, gold trunk can grow to as much as 88 feet (26.8 meters) in diameter. Its gray branches trail down to the ground.

The smooth-edged, very thin leaves are azure at the bottom and slate with copper streaks at the top. They are rigid, but easily come away when pulled.

It is quick growing, taking 3 months to reach maturity. Once mature, a handful of flowers, with petals that are gold in the center, violet in the middle and vibrant red at the edges, grow at the top, reappearing every year. The flower head is shaped like a dish made up of dozens of raised, round-tipped petals. It has a scent whose strength depends on external factors, such as soil quality and rain frequency that smells like a man.

The caudiciform's skin is thin, the lilac flesh is rough, and the red sap is thin.

The leaves are bitter, but very healthy.
It has impressive regenerative properties.
Once on fire, it burns very quickly.
