Azureberry

This average-sized tree grows up to 42 meters (137.8 feet) tall and lives for centuries, with the oldest known specimen being around 323 years old. It is very resistant to destructive insect infestation but susceptible to disease.

It has a long and flexible, wonky trunk covered in very thick, ridged, dark gray bark, and inside, the hard wood is pale brown-grey.

The branches trail down across the ground and are covered with large amounts of sticky, tiny, finger-like leaves with smooth edges. The leaves themselves are azure at the bottom and slate with blue lines at the top.

In late summer it forms small, aquamarine berries.

The roots are thick and spread across the surface, as well as underground, and overall the tree is rigid and weak, and breaks apart easily.

Forests of this species feature the trees packed together densely, with grassy ground between them.
