Silvermint

This small flower grows up to 3 inches (8 cm) tall. Its copper stems grow in bunches of 6 and are very thin and straight, and the tiny, silver leaves are very narrow and elongated with ripped edges. A pair of leaves grow at the base of the flower head.

4 to 6 medium-sized flowers grow on alternate sides up the length of the stem. The flowers are 1 cm (0.4 inches) wide, with petals that are either brown or light grey, with a yellow center. The flower head is shaped like a cup made up of dozens of raised, round-tipped petals. They are hardy.

It has a delicate scent that smells like mint, and it has copious amounts of pollen. It is pollinated by insects , but is also visited by a small species of bird.
