Red Tuftgrass
Grass type: Perennial (Grows along the ground or other low surfaces.)This average-sized, red grass grows up to 3 feet (91.4 cm) tall. The stiff, pointed stalks grow in thin clumps that are resistant.
When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a small, bronze tuft.
During the late autumn, it produces very little pollen, and after flowering, it is left with lots of medium-sized grains.
It can flourish even in standing water.
