Crimson Creeper

Climbing plant type: Creeper (Grows along the ground or other low surfaces.)

This short creeper is a quick growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 22 feet (6.7 meters) and growing as high as 643 feet (196.0 meters). It prefers to grow on rock formations.

It takes 4 months for the crimson or beige stems to mature, by which point they can reach a diameter of 3 cm (1.2 inches) and are rough and fibrous.

The very thin, clammy leaves reach up to 5 inches (13 cm) in length. They are crimson and copper, and have jagged edges.

During late spring, the creeper produces many large green flowers.

It is suitable for making paper
It out-competes most other plants for nutrients and light.
