Sunset Grass

This large, orange-yellow grass grows up to 4 feet (1.2 meters) tall. The slender, pointed stalks grow in sparse patches that are sturdy and flexible and they are slow to spread and grow.

When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a small, beige puff.

During the late summer, it produces lots of pollen, and after flowering, it is left with lots of small grains.
