Giant Creeper Vine

Climbing plant type: Creeper (Grows along the ground or other low surfaces.)

This colossal creeper is a very slow growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 2,292 feet (698.6 meters) and growing as high as 770 feet (234.7 meters). It prefers to grow on man-made objects.

It takes 14 years for the gray stems to mature, by which point they often have a diameter of 4.5 feet (1.4 meters) and are soft and flexible.

The pleated, smooth leaves reach up to 8 inches (20 cm) in length. They are caramel and magenta, and have smooth edges.

The colour changes depends on whether the soil is acidic or alkaline.
It is suitable for making baskets and the like
