Violet Succulent

Succulent type: Leaf succulent (Stores water in its leaves)

This average-sized leaf succulent grows up to 61 feet (18.6 meters) tall. The very narrow, elongated stem is yellow, and is covered in lots of flexible bronze spines. The bubbly leaves are found in violet and dull blue varieties. Small amounts of them grow on narrow, emerald branches that are tall, rigid and upright. The leaves are strong, but take some effort to detach.

It is steady-growing, taking 21 months to reach maturity. Once mature, and only under the right conditions, several flowers with solid red petals decorated with magenta dots and a azure central disk grow at the top, reappearing after 8 years, but only when the conditions are right again. The flower head is an uncoordinated mess of up to 60 curved petals. It has a powerful scent that smells like varnish.

The leaf succulent's skin is tough, the violet flesh is smooth, and the cream sap is thin.

It is suitable for creating fine, soft textiles
